Excellent food; had potatoe pancakes and were so delicious. Attentive wait staff. Owner or chef even stopped by our table.

I wouldn’t recommend the clam chowder. My boyfriend and I each were served a generous bowl of the soup, which was included with the entree )soup or salad).
The soup had a satisfactory flavor, but neither of us was sure it was truly clam chowder.
When I was reaching the end of the serving, I found a distinct piece of clam. Yes, then I knew what the soup was meant to be.
The fried cod I had was on the dry side, definitely not the best. The French fries were good.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, definitely good people.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cafe. Both owner & staff are super friendly and willing to help you. The food is yummy, and the homemade pies are AMAZING!! The price is good for the amount of food you get. Trust me when I say you leave stuffed & feeling like part of their family!!

What a brilliant, warm, amazing return to the Midwest for me at this great Cafe and diner. I will visit it often for the lighter appetite menu. The owner bakes all the pies and cakes herself and they looked amazing. Next time will stop and get a pie and a coffee!

Food was delicious. Staff was very kind, professional. Very attentive and quick to help or get what you need.
They serve breakfast all day.
The portions were definitely worth every penny. I left completely full and satisfied start to finish. Steak was a little more done than I wanted but was still juicy and delicious. Shrimp were nice crunchy. The fries are crispy on the outside. Honestly, best fried I have had in a long time.
Will return soon! Must eat at!
